I purchased the "D" relay about six months ago in the hopes of implementing
Franco's
conversion, as described on Charlies site.  It would not work for me, so I
sent the new "D" relay to Franco, who looked at it and confirmed (a) "one
touch" did not work with it in his car, and (b) there were internal
differences from the earlier version  "D" relay that does work. The
experiment was >$120, but was unsucessful.  I have ordered a used wrecking
yard  "D" relay from a friend in Germany and will report my success or
failure once it arrives.

My wife recently sold her VW GTI VR6 in favor of a 92 S4 and loves it.  One
thing she misses from the VW is the one touch down for the passenger window.
Has anyone, or does anyone know if the S4 can be retrofitted with a relay or
something to make all the windows one touch?  It would be nice if the
windows could be one touch up and down, but one touch down is fine.

It is nice when these are the only problems one needs to worry/obsess over!
