OK, I'll attempt to post a non-opinion laden question here-

My wholesaler friend Brian (also Mr. F355) recently installed an RS2 tbo,
EM, and chippies from Hoppen.  Yes, the same one who's experienced numerous
back and forth problems with the ECU not working recently.

ANYway, he calls me last night and says the car is finally running (after
they asked him to help trouble shoot another client's ECU for them...  Paul
F., could this be yours?  It sounded similar...).  ANYanyway, he says he
doesn't REALLY feel THAT much of a difference in power, etc., and most
certainly not $2g's worth.  He's asked me to drop over when I can (been
tough, wife been demanding baby shopping!) to take it for a burn to
determine whether my seat-o-da-pants confirms his or not.  He's concerned I
guess that Hoppen may have again muffed the MTM programming...

My question is, is there anyone here who's done this same set up who can
speak to the net results achieved?  I suggested he stop futzin' around
already and go get the Ecam, MAF, and inj's and get it over with.  Of
course, it's always funner to spend OTHER people's $$$...
