One thing you need to take into account is that with the hood up, you
don't get
that balancing effect of the hood. Trust me, it's a hell of a lot better
looking
in person than those photos might indicate.

Lose the silver mesh in the grille and put that bumper on a dark colored
car and
it would look quite nice. Lots of space to put a huge intercooler down
there.

You want to talk rice, there's a photo of a yellow WRX that's fully
worked that
I took in the parking lot- might look horrible, but I'll bet it's
really, really
fast- gigantic intercooler, all the right go-fast bits as well.
