I thank you for your information, it is very useful.

The price aspect of the Stoptechs is something I don't
consider to be a "value" by any means- these brakes are
expensive! I don't consider $2000 brake kits to be value,
considering there are 993tt kits for $1300, significant
price difference (probably all in the price of the rotors,
granted).

On our pigboats, has anyone used any of the larger (330mm+)
rotors combined with the really big calipers- AMG 8-piston,
Porsche 996GT2 6-piston, Brembo (the ones that come in the
355mm kit), etc.? How much of a difference is there compared
to something like 993tt or even 996 calipers? And how much of
the performance is due to the rotors- I'll upgrade to two-piece
rotors if there is a significant brake performance benefit (I know
unsprung weight is reduced).
