Have you checked the Wastegate Frequency Valve and the WOT switch?

Ugh, I hate emails with titles like this one.

I am having a weird issue. When flooring it through the gears, sometimes
after a shift when getting back on the gas hard, the boost only goes to
8-10 lbs and the car feels slow as a result. Then, I keep my foot in it,
and in three seconds or so, the gauge "pops" back up to 24 lbs and the
car pulls hard again.

No stumbling, missing, etc. Just not enough boost, and then it
"unsticks" itself somehow and goes back to normal.

I did get check engine light flashing once, and code was for hi/low fuel
mixture issue.

It feels like bad BPV, but I have tried two new ones, and both look OK.
Changed injectors, ECU sw, and MAF (thank you Bob!), and same problem
remains.

It only happens after I've come off the gas completely, and then get
back on, like after a shift or coming through a turn. When I floor it
from highway speed while I am cruising and on partial throttle, no
problem.

I'd say it happens 40% of the time when flooring it through the gears.

Thanks all, I am supposed to leave for Watkins Glen on Friday and am
worried I won't track this one down in time.
