I've got a PPG now, and there are no distortions. Prior windshield was
korean glass and heavily distorted -- I complained and they replaced it. I
was told all glass is warranted against distortion. Cost was under $300,
PPG replacement didn't cost me anything.

Subject: [s-cars] PPG Windshield?
I got a PPG windshield last April. It cost me $311. They cut me a good
deal because I've had so many windows replaced in the past. I also did not
need the embedded antenna, but I don't know how much that affects the price.
The new windshield has heavy distortions in the horizontal direction but is
squeaky clean in the vertical. It took me a couple of days to get used to
the horizontal distortions and I've been happy with it. I can't live with
the vertical distortions, they drive me crazy as the car and my head bob up
and down.
