[s-cars] Shift Knob

It cools down rather quickly, but yes, you're right- it's
very unpleasant in the hot and cold.

Unfortunately, no one makes a leather-covered _heavy_ shift
knob that screws right on to the factory threads. I had
a Momo Anatomic on my 5ktq- it was nice, but it wasn't great.
None of the OEM knobs were to my liking- too light. Having
used the UUC knob for over a year now, I have to say I really
like how it feels when shifting- the added mass really changes
the feel of the shifter.

Aluminum isn't very heavy but the difference in mass over
the OEM shifter is very noticeable.

what is the fascination with metal shift knobs?

on a hot day, it's like grabbing the wrong end of a soldering iron.
