The first short push activates the rear wiper, the second short push
deactivates the rear wiper.  A longer push will activate or deactivate the

intermittent wiper cycle, as well spray the rear window and wipe five
times
or so.  Also, be sure to keep the rear arm well lubricated at the hinge so

you always get maximum pressure against the rear window.

There is no continuous mode.  There is also no mention of how to operate
the rear
wiper in the owner's manual, although there is lots of other useful and
vital
information there.  Worth a careful and thorough read.
