Hello to all,
I spent some time discussing springs/shocks with a guy (don't remember the
name) at 2B.  He mentioned they have used H&R part #29800 (listed in H&R
application guide as a 200 20V, 1989-91) for our cars. These springs really
drop the car way down, he claimed 2" drop and rates of 220lb-fronts
310lb-rears. Compared to H&R part #29921 (listed in H&R application guide as
a S4,S6, Quattro,1992-96) 1.3" drop with spring rates of @300lb-fronts and
330lb-rears.

H&R "race springs" part #29771 according to www.urs4.com have a rate of
340lb-front and 330lb-rear and drop the car about the same as #29921, seems
like a really stiff front setup to me. Has anyone used these springs? If so,
with what shocks? How is the ride/handling like with this application?

Does anyone know what the spring rates were from the factory, other than
stiff in 92 and less stiff from there on?
