I've gone with a MiniDisk for my S4. If you have access to a computer with
CD this works well. The software is transparent and easy to use and transfer
from CD to MiniDisk takes place through USB port at up to 32X speed. For car
use the LP mode on a Sony like the MZ-N707 will allow you to put 4 or 5 CDs
on one MiniDisk. The sound is transferred through a tape cassette adapter
and the small size of the unit allows it to be easily placed. I've read of
setups where the head unit is bypassed and the player is wired straight into
the amp.
