Mike,
My '93 had Black mats over the Beige carpeting from the factory. Looks good
and doesn't show the stains as bad. Just stop spilling the coffee down the
sides of the seat. Keep it stored (while still hot) between your legs.
That way the mats take the abuse (most of the time).

Yeh, green with ecru interior that seems impossible to keep clean. Who has
the magic bullet for keeping the light colored carpets looking good?
