Somebody (Charlie Smith?) had mentioned they had welded the Bilstein tool t=
o the end of a pipe and welded a nut to the other end.  This essentially du=
plicates the factory tool designed for the stock caps and allows you to tig=
hten them from the top of the strut without disassembly.

The bumpstop is internal on the Bilsteins. The Bilsteins are essentially an=
 upside-down shock and if you look at the piston diameter you'll realize th=
e stock bump stop will not fit.
