The meeting is from saturday morning 3.aug and ends sunday evening on the
4.aug. The VW/AUDI club is fairly big in Norway with more than 3000 members.

Usually everybody gathers on friday evening at the Vaaler Racetrack(Quite
similar to Folembray) some 150km north of the Capital Oslo with grillparty
and
related activities.

Saturday is raceday all day long from 0800hrs in the morning to 1800hrs in
the
evening. There are usually four different classes related to HP and car
weight, letting 6-8 cars on the track at the same time with 5-6 rounds and
then rest /cooling of brakes etc. Dahlback usually attend with both his
black
SQ and the Golf, and there is  one original S1 rallycar bought by a
Norwegian
which I know will attend. I would say the split is around 30-50 VW  and
approx
50-70 Audis attend the meeting. There are usually ex-racedrivers giving
instructions to those who is interested, and of cource medic,ambulance etc.

Sunday morning is "show and polish" with judging and throphies, and usually
sunday afternoon is racing with all the special non-street cars(Dahlback,
ACE
among others)

If I compare it with last years Folembray, ours are approx 5 times bigger.
Of
cource we would have to treat any French/US visitors as VIP and everybody is

more than welcome. I will attend if the car still is in one piece.
