Opinions aside, it would be nice to have some objective data to compare
these packages (or anything that makes "more power").  I have always been
amazed by tuner readiness to quote HP, yet have no dyno chart to prove it ,
and not specify whether the HP is wheel or flywheel.  Alot of voodoo in the
automotive business.
Many claims have been made for the S4 chips, but because of AWD- very little
is offered in terms of dyno evidence.  If you know of some dyno charts
please let me know.

I am running MTM with the 3bar sensor which was  touted as 300HP chip.  (A
phone conversation with IA, 5 years ago,  NR actually told me it was a "up
to" 400hp chip- but would not go into details on how to get the 400-yeah
right!).  G-tech wise, I am only seeing 250HP max.with MTM "stage2" Hoppen
package. (chip+exhaust manifold+KN), but my car still felt a lot faster and
did better 0-60mph than another car with Lehman+RS2turbo+boost
controller+big exhsust, probably because of lag-- I never felt the kick in
that car.

Being more "educated" about turbo-cars than I was 5 yrs ago, I  would
hesitate to invest in any chip or package without a dyno chart from the
tuner, or customers who actually have dynoed their cars to show some power
curves.  Same goes for exhausts, intercoolers, etc.

Many on the 951 list have installed TEC3 standalone engine management
systems to their cars with some devastating results-- any one tried or
looked into this with S4.
