Ned Ritchie has developed his own ECU maps as I understand it.
Who knows, he may have started with some other maps, but he knows enough
about what to alter in the maps that he can 'adjust' a set of chips to
suite what a customer wants to do.

Jo Hoppen sells the standard MTM kits, without modification.

If you are running a configuration that's away from stock ... such
as larger than RS2 turbo, larger intercooler, different exhaust,
lower compression pistons, and so on ... I'd go to Ned at IA because
with some of those things done you can benefit from chip maps that
run more boost, or timing, than would be suited for a stock RS2 setup.

Another thing, if you are going to be moving more air through the engine
than can be handled by a stock MAF and injectors, then you WILL need
chip maps that are beyond the standard MTM configurations offered
by Hoppen.

I don't know anything about Lehmann chip configurations, so I can't
comment on their suitability.

If you are running a stock turbo, MAF, and injectors, either Hoppen (MTM),
Ned Ritchie (IA), or (probably) Lehmann iwll work fine +/- YMMV.

If you are going beyond that, I'd go to (and I did) Ned Ritchie of IA.

You only need the 3-Bar sensor if you are running over 2.5 Bar of pressure.
The 3-Bar sensor costs money, and the installation takes some amount of
time - so Ned probably isn't putting it in unless you need it.
