[s-cars] Comp tire questions

I am going to retire my stock 16" wheels to track only status and want to
know what experience is for a couple of tires. I have just about decided on
245/45/16's but might be swayed if someone has an overwhelming argument for
the 255/40/16's. I am considering 2 tires to use on the track (with VERY
little real street work) and would like any BTDT on the Yoko A032R and the
Victororacer V700. I would tend to go with the Yoko w/6/32 tread heat cycled
and would probably go with the V700 heat cycled and shaved to 4/32. Let me
know how you did with these. If this car was 1000lb lighter I would do
Hoosiers, but I hear they are good for only 1-2 track sessions on our Miss
Piggys.
Feedback is welcomed. I am also tending to think that R compound may not be
needed anyway. My car will get its times on the track by being faster in a
straight line and I am simply not willing to drive a non-race prepped car
w/o a roll cage to 10/10's or even 9/10's so may not need the R compound
anyway.
