 Hi Lee,

Several of us, (38 now) adopted the Stromung "SS" exhaust. THe early group purchasers, were the Beta members who debugged the system, primarily on the sound levels, fit and finish.
Check out www.urs4.com and write to me off list for more photos.
So if you engage with your contact, you'll be solving for a known solution.
I can tell you much more if interested in Stromung.

I'll check the archives also, but I sent this out to my local list a while back, but didn't get too much traction, so here's to the wider audience, TIA.

So this local shop that I trust (they've done good
work for me before) tells me that I don't have to go
with one of the few and very expensive aftermarket
hi-flow exhausts that are available. They can
fabricate a custom exhaust for the car. I saw a new
S4 that they did and it looked really clean. Didn't
meet the owner, but heard the car really had more
ponies when called on. The setup is comprised of:

3" pipe from the down-pipe flanges to two high flow
"Carsound" 3" cats, two "Dynomax" Race Magnum 3" high
flow mufflers in serial in place of the two stock
mufflers connected by 3" pipe, to a oval stainless
exhaust tip.

Supposedly will be slightly louder than stock, but not
obnoxious or sound like the "coffee can" mufflers that
are so popular with the kids. All done and warranted
for $1250.00.

Any thoughts from the group?
