[s-cars] I popped my first hose, is this a record ?

Hi guys and gals,

ok, so not even five days after the software upgrade I popped my first hose. Is that a record ?  I've heard the Michelin man is the first to go so even though I haven't had a chance to validate, I'm guessing thats the one.

When I first installed the software I could hear an audible pinging as the revs were passing a particular zone, and since I still had the original plugs in there (110k)  I had been taking it pretty easy.  The new plugs arrived late yesterday, I slapped them in, headed for the h-way, booted it, No detonation, Yeeeehaaaa, saw 24lbs for a split second, then Pfffffffffffffffff.

I'm in on the Samco GP but those won't be here till early-middle August.  Someone recently had asked if anyone out there might have had a spare after a previous GP ?  That was you Paul K wasn't it ?  I still have to validate which hose but,  any chance there'd be a SECOND spare hose out there for sale ?

I guess a word to the now wiser, I was told when I got the new ECU I WOULD pop my hoses. I did.  For all you waiting for the latest software GP, I suggest lining your hoses up NOW.... 8-0  Oh wait, I mean after I get mine...
