OK, I'm prefacing this with the obvious, this will be a stupid post. Hey,
it's a hot sunny Friday here in CT, so what the hey...

That said, a fellow caridiot and I were just discussing an article we'd read
on the '91 Syclone. Yes, don't ask. ANYwho, he recounted another story
he'd read about running NOS through the IC to cool the charge and give
impressive results. Not like I'm actually considering this, but thought
there were some insane yahoos on the list that just might, or already have,
or would think that I'm a total toolstore, which, by the way is true.

Here's some excerpts:

>DonStringfello even drove a Syclone to a class-record at Bonneville! If
memory

turbo
> using nitrous injectors EXTERNALLY. They didn't use the nitrous to boost

intercooler
> to 'freeze' it and thus run ridiculously high boost levels. I think the

Sounds interesting so far. I replied with something like my typical and
boastfully insightful "golly, gee whiz, wowzer". To which he replied:

<<<Here's the kicker with the external NO2.... if you *accidentally* have
the air intake behind the IC when hose nozzles get lit, it stands to reason
your benefits would be twofold. It would be like artificially creating a
really cold morning AND running a shot of happy-gas in your car. Do you
have any idea of how stooooooopid the S4 would accelerate? The words
"F_*_C_K - M_E" come to mind!!!>>>

Ssoooooo, what's the thought on this? Could this possibly be the ultimate
in Hapersizing??? I KNOW there are those here who have either BTDT or were
considering thinking about pondering the possibility of maybe, well, you
know...

Paul sans gigglejuice but mit severe and irreparable issues
