Lance,
If your headlights, radio, etc. work, it is most likely NOT
your ignition switch. Check the starter.

Where did the car spend most of its life? My car was from VT,
probably a reason why my starter died last summer.

Hmmm...ok. My car ('93 S4) has been running and starting fine up until
this morning. Fully intending on going to work today i walked outside,
unlocked my door put the key in the ignition and got nothing. The dash
lights all work, headlights, radio etc. however, the poor thing wont
start. I dont even get a clicking sound? Could this be yet another case
of a failed ignition switch or is it more likely the starter? Any advice
and/or reccomendations as to where to purchase reasonably priced parts
would be greatly appreciated. TIA
