Driving home today my clutch pedal went to the floor and stayed there. I
didn't really here any noise. I was able to driver about 15 miles home by
gently matching revs to shift and luckily not running into any stop signs or
lights (I love rural roads). I think I had this happen to my 4000. I'm
assuming its a clutch slave and master cylinder. I just wanted to check with
everyone for any BTDT. I hoping this isn't a pressure plate or something
else. Like I said the pedal is at the floor, it happened all at once. My
clutch pedal has been a little on the stiff side since I bough the car about
a year ago. Assuming its a clutch slave or master, should I replace both and
is there anything else to take care of while I'm there. Any BTDT would be
appreciated. Thanks.
