Yesterday, I didn't even look or do any investigation when the clutch pedal
went to the floor. I simpl assumed it was the clutch slave and master
cylinder. Upon further review, I noticed hydrulic fluid on the side of the
wheel well inside the engine compartment on the drivers side. I pressed the
clutch in a few times and caused more to spew. I don't know where exactly
its coming from. I didn't have anyone to press the clutch while I looked.
It seems like it may be coming from a small plastic cylinder that a hydraulic
hose may be passing through. It's mounted on the wheel well near the area
where the steering tie rod goes through. Its a black plastic piece about 3
inches long with a dyameter of about a half an inch with a hose running
through it. has anyone had a hydraulic hose burst. The brakes are
unaffected. Just the clutch. Could this fluid be coming from somewhere
else. Thanks.
Michael
