Taka and others:
I share taka's POV on the inutility of our cars as
track cars. Yes, once highly modded we can keep up
with porsches and the like, but the expense is way too
much to just do that with little reward. My goal for
this thing is a fast street car to surprise the heck
out of Junior in Daddy's Mustang or Lexus or 3 series.
So far, I'm there, now if I could only find a decent
way to pull on a Porsche while reading the morning
paper, I'd be in good shape. BTW, the blown coils
that I'm talking of is on H&R's street coils, is that
the same kit? My friend just blew out both rear
shocks and the front feels like it's on its way out,
also. 2002 Nogaro/Nogaro NeuS4. He drives harder
than most, but this is a recurring issue with that
kit. Maybe it was fixed, but he's riding around like
an old cabbie, bouncing on the freeway.
