I had mine rebuilt by Griffiths tech in NJ
http://www.griffiths.com/
in one day. Cost me about $250. Great people to deal
with. Thye even sent back the trashed internals. It's
an easy replacement. Just make sure to get the crush
washers and flush your fluid.

I am also in need of a pump, I think. My wife's 92 is
leaking from the
x-plug. I replaced the o-ring about a week ago, and
it let loose again
today. Is the pump shot or did I just do a poor job
of seating the
ring? I
suspect something is wrong with the pump since it
re-occured.

Subject: [s-cars] Power Steering Pump

Hi guys, how are you all doing today? I am looking
for some parts for
my UrS4. i need a power
steering pump because because there is a crack on a
seem. For a while
the leak has been getting
worse and fluid has been making a trail from my work
to my home that I
could follow... Is there
anyone that knows a good place to find a pump.
Secondly, i am looking
for a new ignition. Yes, I
have gotten to that point to where my S has fallen
victim to the old
Audi problem that the ring
has broken in the ignition. hopefully if all goes
well, I can install
these fairly simple parts
myself.
Ken
