I have removed my center driveshaft bearing to try to trace down a rumble f=
rom that region that I have had for 50K miles. The bearing seems OK, but th=
e replacement that I bought is different. It is centered where the existing=
 is off-center in the frame. I bought it from Blaufergnugen. They (Jim) cla=
im lots of people use these and that they have never seen an off-center bea=
ring. The FAQ shows photos of the replacement process which show the same b=
earing that I have.

Anyone know if the centered bearing will work, and have any experience with=
 this rumble?

The rumble sounds like a bad U-joint, but all of the joints seem OK.

I'm new here after a few years off the list, so thanks in advance.
