I need some help guys,

I am attempting to install Neil's VBM in the IC.  I have not gotten very far
as I am hung up on removing the IC.  I have read the FAQ on UrS4.com but my
IC is very stubborn about coming forward out of the dash (yes, I removed the
3 screws).  I can get it to move about a 1/4 to a half inch but then it
really feels as though it is being held in place by something.  Maybe it
just takes more force than I am comfortable exerting?  I really don't want
to have to replace this thing - must be about 1500+.  Does it just take a
LOT of gentle persuasion?
