Normally when I see Camber numbers like these I assume you have lowered
your car. First thing needed (if this is true) is upper strut plate
modified for more negative adjustment. Then when I did mine (with the
modified plates) I had similar variations left and right. The alignment
shop loosened the entire front subframe and reset it to be more centered.
Then the adjustments fell into the correct range. Worth trying this
relatively simple fix. The subframe must have taken a shot (of course
it was the previous owner) and been pushed to one side. Now that the
car has been lowered, aligned and has new 17" rubber its handling is
completely transformed. Next is the brakes ..... and family budget
approval from my better half.

Jan,
Typically the entire control arm must be replaced; fortunately they
are relatively inexpensive. Another part to inspect is the rear
subframe mounts (4A0 399 419E and 420E) of the front subframe /
cross member. These are bonded rubber and are what anchor the rears
of the front control arms ... if they are worn, then they allow the
control arms to compress inwards or out ... which will throw off the
camber. These parts are usually only available from the dealer for a
pretty penny (or krone).
If those look good, then the only other flexible member is the upper
strut mounts ... also bonded rubber.
Hope this helps,
Todd Kramer
