[s-cars] Hose leak and boost gauge 'tap' location

I know I'm going to regret this...but I wouldn't mind a set of hoses
myself...at a decent price of course. I mentioned a few weeks back that if
you get a GP going for them it's possible to deal with Samco directly or so
I was told since I'm in Canada and there are no distributors here. When I
talked to Samco said they would deal with me directly if I had a large
enough order (at least a few kits). Prices would be about $100 US less per
full kit than what it would cost at other places I checked, about $250 US
for a full kit. That's a "guesstimate" as I'm including shipping costs to my
place and duty etc. which I think would drive the price up to about that. I
assumed shipping by Air, but the price could be dropped more if it was
shipped by boat but you'd wait about 2 months plus Samco said that require 4
to 5 weeks to build the houses. They told me they can make them in all 7
colors (Blue, Red, Yellow, Green, Purple, Black, and Orange). I asked the
shipping dimensions for one full kit and they said a ruff guess is about 2
kilos in weight and size by box is 15x20x50CM, I checked and air shipping
for 1 kit is about 60 GBP?, I would assume much less by boat? They said
payment would have to be up front via bank transfer. I was also told if I
opt for the plastic bag method of shipping I can save a few extra bucks
rather than use the Samco box method.
A few things would have to be ironed out for a GP at these prices, such as:
1) Do we have enough people for a GP?
2) What's the best method of shipment? (Air/Boat/?)
3) Does anyone know what the costs are to import this? (never done it
myself).
4) Payment would have to be up front...
5) What else? (anyone done this before?)
Here's the part numbers for a full kit:
TB735 Hose from turbo to crossover pipe
TB736 (Spout to the hose below)
TB653 Hose from crossover pipe to intercooler
TB652 Hose from intercooler to throttle body
That's all the info I have on the matter, now the question is do we do a GP
or not...
Cheers, /Jamu.
P.S. I'm a little overloaded at work these days so I don't really have time
for this, but maybe in a week or two.

Thanks Guys;
Man - and I was out at the track for one session Saturday B4 I
figured out why I couldn't seem to get away from the M3s!!!
Fixed the hose last night - at least a temp fix - and with the cold
AM temps today - the beast is back :)
Frank - I talked to Mance yesterday - He claims no more Samco hoses
are to be had anywhere???

In other words, STAY OUTTA THE BOOST until you can replace that hose
(preferably w/ a Samco unit).
