Generally governed by your insurance policy. If there is an ambiguity, it is
usually construed against the insurance company. Read your policy. In
addition any material misrepresentation on the application for insurance
could invalidate the policy. Most auto policies do not have a period of
inconstestibility, although after first year the application may be too old
to be "accurate". This is one area where YMMV. HTH
