Gary is correct the top has a big white .99 on the top and is about half the
size of the old one, the side of mine has the numbers 3997 in white. The
relay was black plastic. The part has VW 357 955 531 pressed in the side.

If you have a relay with the number 3.200.110 manufactured by a company
KAE(kaehler automotive equipment)I would send it back, I don't think these
function correctly as specified. Gary isn't this what you initially got and
sent back?

I have a pic of my old and new if anyone "really" needs it...

I took some pics of how to replace the old relay with the new one while I
was testing out the use of a digital camera for the first time, so if anyone
is hesitant to do this neat little mod e-mail me and I'll send you the pics.
It's really easy to do.

Cheers, /Jamu.

P.S. I think the Bosch part number is: 0 986 335 058

Yes, the first one I got from http://www.germanautoparts.com/ didn't
work. I
sent it back and the next one (actually two) they sent does work I
don't
have the part numbers. I know the second one has a big white 99 on
the top,
and I'm quite sure the interval is more than 20 seconds. If you
really need
the part number, I can check my 200 tomorrow. It's outside in the
rain
today, and I don't really want to flood out the relay box with
water. Let me
	know.
	ps. price was $21

	Gary
