There are a few things I'd do in terms of preventative maintenance,
right
away:
Get rid of the TAP chip, wastegate spring and cone filter- replace them
w/
Lehmann or IA software, go back to stock wastegate spring and factory
airbox
or RS2 airbox.
Fuel line recall is critical, make sure that your car does not have a
problem
w/ the line (or don't drive it!) and see if the recall was done- if not,
get it
done ASAP.
I don't believe it is a problem w/ the UrS, but check the Bose speakers,
esp. in
the back, make sure they don't make any funny "popping" sounds that may
signal
imminent death- these speakers have caused cars to burn to the ground in
the
'91 200 quattro.
I'd also change the oil, filter, fuel filter, air filter, inspect the
plugs and
connectors, all of the basic stuff before driving 600 mi.
