While I agree with most of your post the above paragraph is pure shit. I dont
watch Nascar oval racing but I have been thru Roush and Hendricks garages and
the stuff they do while maybe not F1 level is at a level that no-one on this
list can criticize. Take some time and go to a prime time shop and see if you
are not amazed by what they can and quite often do. I also am not big on
Wildwoods, they are used quite often on dirt track for cost, taking a
statement and saying the engineering in these cars is not top notch is wrong,
plain and simple. Just my opinion, but if you go to a good shop you mind will
change too. Your point about the early days is true, run what you can get by
with, but changes started getting made when the prize funds hit 1MM plus.
