My understanding is that you have to buy the whole gas pedal assembly. The
pad is held on by a plastic tab (I'm sure Audi would call it a "hinge").
They could have made it replaceable, but they didn't. I repaired mine with
a 1-1/2 inch tall door hinge, 4 pop rivets with backing washers, and about
an hour's worth of work. After removing the mounting base for the old hinge
from the pedal, the spine of the door hinge fits right into the cavity. I
only have a few months' use on it, but so far it's working great. As
another lister so eloquently stated, this part has a 100% failure rate.
