[s-cars] FPRs & squirts

Hey all,

I am playing with Bosch injectors and looking for ~ 10% more flow for some
additional duty cycle headroom and what-not. I want to stick with Bosch
injectors for a couple different reasons. I also want to stick with stock
replacement type FPRs for reasons of durability and cleanliness of install.
I have come up with two different ways to get an ~10% flow increase (both of
which involve running a given injector, from the list below, at 1.0 Bar
higher pressure than it ran stock).

So, check out the following quasi-matrix (hopefully it makes it through
email with some semblance of formatting). I list different fuel pressures in
Bar, and then three injectors with their respective cc/min flow rates at
those same Bar pressures, respectively.

Fuel Pressures in Bar, of 3.00 (3B), 3.80 (ADU / RS2), 4.00 (AAN) and 5.00
(aftermarket) respectively

AAN injector flows (323 stock): 280, 315, 323, 361
3B injector flows (310 stock): 310, 348, 358, 400
ADU / RS2 injector flows (415 stock):	360, 405, 415, 465

So, AAN injectors run 323 cc/min at the AAN stock 4.0 Bar FP. Hence, AAN
injectors will run 361 cc/min at a 5.0 Bar FP.
Also, 3B injectors run 310 cc/min at the 3B stock 3.0 Bar FP. Hence, 3B
injectors will run 358 cc/min at a 4.0 Bar FP/

So, the question becomes do I buy 5 new 3B injectors (for ~$450) to replace
my 100k+ mile units, install them in my car @ 4.0 Bar to net 358 cc/min
each, or do I simply add a 5.0 Bar FPR to my car (for free as I already have
the part) to net 361 cc/min??

Or, do I simply get my existing units balanced and blueprinted and then run
them at 5.0 Bar?

Thoughts???

Frank--
