When I bought my S6 (used) the trunk lock assembly barely worked. There
was evidence of a repair attempt. I disassembled the whole lock down to
the individual parts. The problem was the lock had never been
lubricated. It has worked fine since reassembly. Watch out for two
tiny ball bearings in there; disassemble slowly, and keep track of the
process so you can follow the Bentley standard rule -- assembly is the
reverse of disassembly.
