[s-cars] Were all TAP chips for 20V bad?

I had one in my 92 when I bought it about a year ago. I am not sure what
you have on your car, but mine is heavily modified and I have no experience
with TAP lower stages of modifications. This may or may not apply to you.

It actually ran okay and made good power (300 hp according to my g-tech).
The check engine light was always on, I sent it back to TAP and they said
nothing was wrong. I recently bought some Lehman (sp?) chips and installed
them. The check engine light is now off, something with the TAP chis set
off the check engine light.

The new chips get better gas mileage (around 1-2 mpg) and slightly better
power (307 G-tech).

The check engine light is off but the ecu is still throwing codes because
the pressure sensor (TAP 3.14 bar) is giving some odd readings under vacuum
conditions. I am in search of a 3 bar sensor replacement right now if
anyone knows here I can get one!

In summary, The TAP setup does work and makes good power, but if I were to
start from scratch, I would probably get something else that does not throw
any error codes.

Send me a line if you have any questions.

Jack
