While we're at it, how about the $45 Bosch/MTM wonder from Hoppen,
www.hoppenmotorsport.com/bypass.htm? Inquiring minds want to know...

While I really only skimmed the past discussions about replaceement valves,
I guess I should have taken things more seriously. The boost on the S6 is
intermittently not coming on as it should and is getting to be the norm,
so...I guess it's time to check it out and probably replace it. The stock
"improved Bosch valve, p/n 0 280 142 110, can be had for $22 from
thepartsbin.com. The Forge and HyperBoost valves from Stratmosphere go for
$140+. How much better are they than the plastic ones in practice? The car
in questoin has the 320 hp RS2 mods. Unless there is some definitely
noticeable advantage to the superior engineering overkill, over five times
more seems a bit much.

ALL comments and opinions appreciated! And youcan let me know your p/n or
model of choice, too.

TIA,

Steve
