The prior owner of my '94 had the clutch replaced at an Audi dealer in
August 2000, 119K miles. Just for reference, here are the numbers:
Master cylinder - 211
Slave cylinder - 130
Labor for above - 261
R&I transmission, clutch, flywheel - 783
Flange - 80 (I'm assuming this is the engine rear oil seal)
Disc - 123
Pressure plate - 295
Flywheel - 830
Release bearing - 67
6 bolts 8x80 - 68
With the small items added, the total was 2874. Sales tax added another
151.
I was very relieved that somebody else paid for this 10K miles before I got
the car. It's got me scared into shifting very gently, and changing the
brake/clutch fluid regularly!
