Not to beat a dead horse but today's completion of my Samco hose installation
provided oportunity to study this thing.  It appears that there are two holes
strategically located to allow for leaks to find their way out.  More
importantly (IME) there are two vents that direct air flow back then a
spoiler lip would appear to direct it up towards the transmission.
I might also add that belly pan removeal/installation would be near
impossible w/o Rhino Ramps or some such front end raiser...  Although I have
seen Bob Pastore remove the belly pan ala "Wild, Wild, West" Will Smith;  two
wheels up on curb, Bob hanging off bottom.  Don't remember how fast he was
going;)
