I must admit, no one knows more about the difference between the American
and European bumper mounts than Tom.  Seidl may say that it mounts to both
but the later model A6 required shortening the length of the bumper mount to
make it fit.  We are currently waiting for a complete kit to be shipped from
Seidl in Europe to Strictly Foreign in PA for test fitting on an American
body.  We should have more answers by the end of June.

How can they say "it doesn't matter"?!  The US mounts and euro mounts are
very different.  In the front the bumper mounts differently and they are
different lengths.  The rear mount is also totally different.  I would think
that it does matter what mount is used.  Seidl must be using Alta Vista
translator to answer your questions.



With that being said not to worry the euro mounts are cheap anyway.
