someone once integrated it into the mirror.  quite nice.  currently, mine is placed to the right of the mirror, so i avoid the tint at the top of the winshield.

since you've got a newer trip computer, you might want to look at www.tripcomp.com and forums.tripcomp.com --- integrate V1 into the tripcomputer as a remote display.
