No, you were just working the conversation back around to Vodka.

So let me get this straight ... what you have to be careful about is
that the Vodka doesn't cause dehydration?

How about when it's ice cold?  That should slow down something, besides
the participant.  If it were a critical problem, I suppose one could
drink it on the rocks.
