I've added a link to this site onto my page with Eliot Lim's FAQ:
 4. Agency for Toxic Substances FAQ on Toluene
     In summary:
Use in a well ventilated area, don't drink even a little of it,
report spills of more than 1000 pounds to the National Response Center
After reading this, it doesn't sound any more noxious than many
of the other household things we have. I'll bet Clorox or Household
Ammonia rate higher on the danger scale. Agreed, if you feed enough
of about anything to lab rats you'll get a toxic reaction.
It didn't even say to stay away from Tolu trees, where ever they are.
