Also, btw, the Hakka Qs are not the world's best dry tire. A *lot* of
sidewall give, a lot more than with the NRWs. I'm half tempted to swap tires
with my wife's car, which has the NRWs...
I am looking forward to checking out their foul weather capability...but
there's no snow in the forecast :(

Couldn't agree with you more Lee. While each of us have our own needs in a
snow tire, your snow tire needs will vary (YSTNWV), for us low lying NE'ers
where we need a 100% snow tire maybe 5x / yr., there's no way I could ever
justify slapping on a set of T rated jello goo on a near-4000lb. near 300 hp
/ P braked / stiff suspensioned car. While the Q's are phenomenal in the
snow, the NRW's are worlds more bearable for the other 95% of our winters
here (dry), so what if you compromise a tad of snow grip. I'd meal them Q's
up in a month, BTDT on less heavy / powerful cars. Now, your WIFE is likely
not to notice your swap 8-)...
Personally, I'll be running a snow tire this season from a little known
supplier. They were loaned to me by some outfit called Pizzo-tron
Industries late Friday. Near-new Pirelli WinterSport 225/50/16H on OE 16x8
Ronals. NICE! Anyone have any BTDT with these? All I had to do is in turn
lend him my OE Avus mit worn Pilots for his Sat. NY club blast, as well as a
worn set of Toyo FZ4s (thanks Nick!) to replace them when the belts show
(prob. late Sat.).
Circle of life...

P.S. why is 2:45 a.m. the only time Audi-folkgatherings conclude @ Susan
