I'm running the same Pirelli's in a 205/55/16 on the OE Rims. These were
fabulous last winter, and not nearly as "squishy" as some other winter tires
I've had. Fantastic in snow and slush; good on ice. Didn't wear as badly
on dry pavement either. I suspect that our winter weather is similar, so
you should have good luck with them.
With dry pavement, I'd run the tire pressure a little higher too, around 40
psi. If a blizzard showed up with deeper snow, I'd drop the tire pressure
to around 35-36 psi. This made a big difference WRT grip. Just don't
forget to put it back up once the roads are clear!

Dan-
Great, THANKS! Just the feedback I was hoping to hear. I figured they'd be
pretty good, they've got a great tread to them, very similar to the NRW.
Wait a sec, gots to be careful HOW good we say these things are... Pizzo
might be listening! No take backs...
Thanks too for the pressure tip, I'd have not thought to go that high with
them.
