[s-cars] Really bad caster

The wheel to wheel distances are:
Right: 2690 mm
Left : 2694 mm
Apparently, there's something wrong in there.
BTW, I have changed my CV Boots two weeks ago. I didn't follow the
procedure as per Bentley but used the procedure from the 20V list:
- Turn the wheel
- Remove the ball joint pinching bolt
- Push down the control arm
- Remove the axle end from the hub.
This worked flawlessly until I tried to push back the ball joint into
the hub. I had to use a 5 foot crowbar to lower the control arm and 4
helping hands to align the hub and the ball joint end. I think this is
more likely the culprit than the bottom of the Mercedes I cherish with
my front bumper.
Vincent, a bit less puzzled w/ your help.

Vincent,
that or the antisway bar is bent. Unless the shop did not measure it
properly. I'll tell you what, why don't you measure the distance from
wheel to wheel on both sides and post it here. I will compare those with
my '97 with a perfect Caster. My line of thinking is you couldn't
possibly disturb the geometry in the top strut mounts, so it is in the
lower control arm. Thus the simple measurement should reveal the
discrepancy, if any.
And.... since you are a Canadian thus the real measurement units are
native to you, please post the dimensions in mm.
:-)
