well, my brother is a surgeon, so maybe it runs in the family. :)
my old MFTS was a 4-prong. the new one is a 3-prong. did you make
a similar change? my gauge used to sit at the fifth hash mark. it
now sits at the fourth hash mark, though after some freeway driving,
it climbs to halfway between the fourth and fifth marks.
it also seems to respond more slowly than before. on my way to the
freeway, i used to see the gauge at normal temperature (the fifth
hash mark) by the time i got to the freeway, although the oil wasn't
up to 100C yet. now, it's only at the third hash mark when i get to
the freeway.
