[s-cars] Tach abnormalities.

To those of you that have experienced tach issues:
If my memory serves me, they were all showing too low, correct?

What was done (if anything)to resolve these issues?

I ask because I just finished wiring up the tach in my AAN=>Cq
conversion, and I appear to be getting *high* readings.

What appears to be redline is actually sounds more like 5k rpm.
Idle seems like it may be high, indicating between 1k and 1100, but I
can't argue that too much.

My IC is from an early S2, and the tach was reading correctly on the
Hitachi ECU from my 7A.
It's my understanding that the tachs across all models of this era work
from pulses received from the ECU. So in this case, I should be good
coming from the 5cyl NA 7A, no?

Any input or BTDT would be greatly appreciated.
