Eh?  What do you think ...

Is there a level sensor bolted on the side of the car, and depending
on how high the rear of the car rises this tells it how much fuel
has been used?

If you devise a way to measure fuel tank fullness besides having a
sensor in the tank, you can probably patent it, sell it to Detroit,
and get rich.

Am I missing something here?
