yeah, but the toluene costs almost $10/gallon at the local
sherwin williams.  might be cheaper for 2 gallon or 5 gallon cans.
4 gallons of toluene would cost me about $40.  17 gallons of 91
octane costs me about $34.  so for $72, i'd wind up with a tankful
of 95.4 octane.  the gas station in san jose sells 100 octane at about
$4/gallon.  $84 gets me a tankful of 100 octane.

or if i mix 10 gallons of 100 octane with 11 gallons of 91 octane,
i'll get 21 gallons of 95.3 octane for $62(assuming $2/gallon
for 91 octane).

or i could get 11 gallons of 100 octane and mix with 10 gallons of
toluene to get 21 gallons of 107 octane.  that ought to make the
car fly pretty well.  :)
